We perform these services in hotels and convention centers for B2B conferences, meetings, training programs, and product launches.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Account Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for providing expert planning, project management, problem solving, and onsite leadership for our clients in the following areas:

  • Audio Visual & Staging
  • Computer & Internet Management
  • Digital and Network Signage
  • Audio/Visual Technology Software Applications.

Role Overview, Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the development of project budgets and quotations as required.
  • Ensures completeness of orders, filling in any and all necessary components.
  • Work with Account Manager and Director of Event Operations regarding the financial impact of client changes.
  • Responsible for site visits and surveys to establish/refine project requirements as needed.
  • Participates in client status calls and maintains project status with support from Project Coordinator.
  • Ensures proper booking of AV gear in rental system/MOLE.
  • Handles incoming client calls and requests and promotes strategies that maintain and enhance client relationships with strong customer service
  • Provides on going support as required by work load and supports project teams to ensure that all deadlines are being met.
  • Knowledgeable of all company equipment, requirements, and proper usage.
  • Keeps Acct Manager and Event Operations Director apprised of work in progress and proactively communicates any potential for missed deadlines or project concerns.
  • Exercises considerable judgement and discretion and performs special projects as required.
  • Active and visible supporter of the mission, vision and values of the company.
  • Experience within the event industry in audio visual, IT or similar work environment preferred
  • Project Management (PMP) training or other certification a plus. 3 to 5 years of experience with project management processes, project management docs and project accounting.


Travel Requirements: 30% up to 40% depending on client opportunities, goals and objectives.  Local office based in SE Orlando.

Compensation:  This position is a salaried role.  Additionally, eligible positions with etech include a robust compensation package including company profit sharing, 401k, medical, dental, LTD, PTO, cell phone allowance and holidays.
