etech is an event technology integrator that has been empowering better meetings and events for more than 20 years.  By utilizing core systems like AV, networked Digital Signage and connectivity and WiFi, we’re able to provide the technology infrastructure for a smart event.  Today, to meet the needs of our growing customer base and the increased demand for more experiential communication at events, we are expanding our offering to include best in class Creative Services.

Our Creative Services will include event branding, the production of video and motion graphics-based content, sponsor advertising, presentation design, and programming expertise in the development of interactive experiences – effectively adding a “content layer” over the technology infrastructure we currently provide.

To help lead our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Art Director to bring strategically sound conceptual thinking and high level, craftsman-like art direction as she/he leads a team in the conceptualizing and production of all our Creative Services.



  • Contributes a range of solutions to enhance client meetings and events by exploiting innovative and effective visual communications while developing deeper knowledge and understanding of our clients’ business and their communication goals.
  • Prepare creative briefs and style guides.
  • Provide art direction to artists working on projects to ensure the proper design intent is being realized.
  • Establishes art design budgets and labor requirements; and builds proposals.
  • Actively reviews, evaluates, and maintains portfolios of prospective designers, illustrators, graphics artists and motion graphics designers.
  • Resource right-fit talent (contract graphic designers, internal partners and vendors) to ensure work is accomplished on-time, within budget and is of the highest quality. 
  • Manage the day-to-day work of artists by assessing requests, assigning projects, tracking progress and providing creative feedback.
  • Works with external vendors and contractors to guide creative work.
  • Supports internal marketing communications requirements by collaborating effectively across departments to inspire creativity, and conceive of and help implement new, visual communication solutions for our clients.
  • Establishes, builds and maintains open relationships based on trust and partnering with clients and supporting departments.
  • Expert skill level with Adobe Creative Suite and other related software.
  • Exhibits a fun attitude and pride in the process of making and selling great work.
  • Engages in personal development necessary to stay current in design trends, advertising techniques, multimedia technologies other research activities required to become more familiar with clients’ businesses.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (25%-35%)


  • Master’s degree in fine arts, visual arts or graphics arts or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years digital/visual arts production experience, preferably working in the event industry.
  • Experience working with corporate branding and communication campaigns.
  • Good listener and demonstrated ability to correctly interpret the creative vision of the Internal/Client Producer/Director and guide the project design team to deliver on that vision.
  • Expert communication skills and ability to comfortably communicate directly with clients and company leadership.
  • Willingness to innovate and implement new emerging technologies.

  • Has a natural ability to coach, mentor and inspire junior designers.
